Conscious Hotel Museum Square - Amsterdam

Nice place with great wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a lovely bar lounge area. The staff always assisted my elderly parents with kindness. I remember Stef's attentive service too. I'm excited to return for Christmas!...  

location next to all the museums, in a very quiet neighborhood, without noise. Friendly staff, nice and always ready to help. spacious room and big and very comfortable bed.

There's no air conditioning, no fan or anything like that. It was 30 degrees and we had to keep the window open all the time, which means that, apart from being very hot, the room was full of mosquitoes. There is also no refrigerator to put drinks in cold. In the room, which is so spacious, there is no closet. There are just some hangers hanging on the wall. The room has wall-to-wall windows, it gives a lot of light, but no privacy, as it was just above the terrace, so everyone could see you. If you closed the curtains, you were completely in the dark, because they are so opaque. But the worst thing was the anecdote with the cleaning staff in the room. Around 4.30pm we went back to the hotel to rest for a while. We are in bed stretched out and they open the door and a boy enters. He tells us that he's coming to clean the windows. We tell him that he can't now, obviously, but he insists. At the end the lady who is doing the room appears from behind, pulls him aside, and asks us if we are leaving soon. We say no, we'll be here for a while. And he tells us that she has to clean the room and that at 5pm she's leaving. In the end we tell her she'll clean up tomorrow, she changes the towels and leaves. It's better not to talk about breakfast management.

The rooms are comfortable modern and newly decorated, the beds are extra large. It offers very good service.

very poorly trained staff, extreemly noisy cleaning staff, an amateur feeling in a hotel charging over a 100 eurs a night. poor breakfast and not so fresh. dirty dining room. in short - very bad an uninterested management.

Strongly recommend for a brief weekend stay

Comfortable room, friendly staff, and the fabulous location near museum square made our stay enjoyable, as we loved the eco vibe and appreciated the wine hour that offered a good touch to our evenings....

Very good location

The room was extremely cold! When we arrived the heaters were turned down (it was round 2 degrees woutside so inside not much more). I turned on the heaters to max, it helped a bit but when we came back late at night they were completely cold, even though they were set to 5. I was freezing the whole night long! Additionally we only had hot water during the first day, on the second it was warm, but impossible for me to wash my hair...
